with automated monitoring facilities, which enable continuous
monitoring and are commercially viable.

Stationary local measuring points enable the continuous monitoring of vehicle status and superstructure load parameters and ensure a constant quality level. Measurements do not impede normal traffic. The vehicles do not need any additional equipment and vehicle identification systems (transponders), although such systems can be incorporated.
Argos® local measuring points do not require any specific measures in superstructure maintenance. Track sections quipped with the Argos® system can be tamped, ground and reprofiled as the rest of the tracks.
